I must have really needed a recharge and a week of nothing but relaxation. I thought Alamo lake would have been enough but this weekend has been nothing but relaxing, Great food and sunshine as well as sunsets.
Of course I did go explore a little. This memorial was a nice side trip. So sad what happened to these Japanese Americans. Praying the world will continue to know this history and hopefully never repeat it.
Another side trip was to these Intaglios.
Such a shame people have carved one in this location that is not part of what was originally done. As the information sigms point out, this changes the future meaning of these carvings.

Gorgeous area 
It does make me wonder why they were carved in the earth to begin with and being the size they are. Full view of them would be best from the sky or mountain top.

Chicken kabobs and roasted red potatoes. I got 3 meals and a breakfast from the leftovers.
