Miss Pearl is getting up there in miles! I did my first ‘stealth’ overnight staying at Watson Benzie Pro Master dealer. She’s all good with new Spark plugs, brake fluid and oil change. Next week, tire rotation. She’s ready to roll for another 100,000.
This was an impromptu stop and I scored a fantastic spot. Just chilling and recharging.
So, I’ve been thinking about getting one of these small chainsaws and I found 1 on sale for 57% off. For about $30, this thing is going to be great to have.
Beth and I took a short drive towards Boyne City, Michigan and stopped by Hayes township park. It’s a beautiful place to relax, fish, put in a boat or have a picnic. I also found a hilltop meadow to meditate the new moon.
It was a fun morning walking in the Memorial day parade with other Elks members. Sunny, cool morning and truly enjoyed walking and handing out flags to the kids.
It was great to get out and do some exploring with my sister Beth for her birthday. We started with a plan on going south. From there we simply improvised, making right and left hand turns. Our final route took us around beautiful Torch lake. Stopping at known and some unknown destinations. Happy birthday my dear sister!
I will not be posting the next week or so as my family and I pay tribute to our mom who passed onto heaven and her next adventure May 16th. She instilled in us acceptance, adventure and to reach for our dreams whatever they might be. Love and will miss you mom but I know you and all your angels are with me always.
This is a remote little campground along the Ocee River in south Tennessee. I’ve been here before and truly enjoyed my stay. The only downside side is cell service is missing. You can take a short drive to the East Boat dock for wifi. What was fun was seeing where the 1996 Olympic white water competition took place. Water would have been a lot higher.
This was my first time staying at this park and I loved it! Go Georgia State Parks! I haven’t been to one that wasn’t fantastic! This is a big park but campground sites are well spaced if not a little creative. They are built into a Mountainside so there is that. The rest of the park has great trails, a lot of mining history and a huge lake to play on.
