I came down with a cold so took myself away to avoid giving everyone my germs. I’ve been to this campground and number of times so I was happy to just chill out, watch College football and get better. I scored a fantastic site along the lake with a beautiful oak shade tree. Sunset didn’t disappoint.
I’m still having fun helping out with my family. We’ve organized the older girls room a little. Had tickle fights. Built magnetic buildings. Studying hard for school. Ending with show night entertainment. Oh, and finding cool bugs!
This was done awhile ago but I had to wait until my friend Sue’s birthday to post.
It was great fun working with my friend Brandy to pull this off. Two great minds to help get this done. Glad you love them Sue! Happy Birthday!
This company was so cool to watch how they coordinated the removal of this massive tree. After 2 scary incidents involving tree limbs falling on the swing set and 1 little girl( who’s ok) the neighbor decided this tree needed to go. He was having nightmares of what could happen. The removal, breakdown and clean up all happened in less than 10 hrs. Amazing!
I’m hanging out with my nephew and his family for a couple of weeks. Baby number 5 has the household in disarray so Aunt Patty’s staying to help out. First week has gone well! Kids are awesome and I get to bring out my inner child. Oh, and practice my braiding skills…which need work!
I continue to revisit this state park but this time I was able to introduce Mary and Dave to this campground and the North portion of the Okefenokee swamp. We had so much fun and 1 more day would have been great!
It’s always fun staying at few days with Mary and Dave. They have embraced this area and continue to find fun things to do. And of course there’s always a project or 2 to do.
This was a great overlook of Cumberland gap in Tennessee. The work that went into this exhibit is impressive. What a nice tribute to our military.
This was a fantastic Boondockers welcome stay. As their name implies, it was a perfect location for me to stop for the night. P and B were fantastic hosts, gifting me with some delicious Ginger ale from a local company.
It’s always a nice stop seeing cousins from my mom’s side of the family. This was just a quick stop before moving south. Thanks for meeting up with me for dinner!!
