Exploring an underground river and caverns at Rio Secreto, Mexico

What a great tour this was!!! I’ve explored caverns and caves before on land but never through an underground river system! We walked,  floated, swam through this very sacred place. We were not allowed to take pictures inside and our photographer was not that good at getting clear pictures of us. To see this amazing place,  you should Google it. Best tour we did!

My vehicle information

I was recently asked specifics about Pearl.  She’s built on a 2019 Ram Pro Master 3500. Winnebago built my Travato set up. My version is a 59G. I chose this version over the 59K version because of the refrigerator being up, a separate freezer, dining table being able to convert to an extra bed or couch.

Tomorrow something we can all do.

TOMORROW, Friday February 28: Economic Blackout

Spend no money, and if you must, spend it with small, local businesses using cash only.

🚫 Target 🚫 Amazon 🚫 Walmart 🚫 Fast food 🚫 Corporations

An economic blackout disrupts the flow of money, directly pressuring corporations and policymakers by hitting them where it hurts—profits and revenue.

General Coffee State Park near Douglas, Georgia

I Love this park. I have been keeping a close eye on when they would reopen after being destroyed by Hurricane Helen’s at the end of September last year. Once I saw they were reopening I booked my stay. The farm and all the animals survived without incident. The trails and trees were not as fortunate. I was told over 35,000 trees were taken down. I’m guessing there were more than that. The uppity ups didn’t figure the park would reopen for at least a year. Thank goodness the people here  kicked butt to get the park opened!

There was a cooking demonstration the day I left and one of the cabins was open.  Amazing that the preacher living here had 13 kids. There must have been some additional rooms at one time. I also found these pamphlets interesting. One to soldiers gave me goosebumps.

Visit with Friends in Clearwater,  Florida

I always enjoy meeting up with friends. Jane and I worked together back in the day and we’ve kept in touch over the years. I landed at their place in Clearwater a few days before Valentines day. It was fun to catch up during Happy hour, at the pool and helping set up for the dance Saturday night.

I’ll definitely be stopping at their home in Michigan when I get back. Keep dancing Jane!

As an update, it’s with a sad heart that Jane’s husband Jack passed away today from complications of COPD. Please send prayers her way. I’m extremely sad for your loss, Jane.
